We visited the Bundaberg Distillery and participated in their “Behind the Scenes” tour, which won the same tourism award as we did, but for Queensland. This was pure industrial espionage – I wanted to see how we compared as a destination.

There was a magical surprise for us in the State budget just handed down—and Roger Jaensch, Jeremy Rockliff and Miriam Beswick were the three leprechauns who made it happen! See Ant’s report for details!

Welcome to the best time of the year—well its my favourite time in the garden anyway. With the very dry summer that we have had, Autumn colour has already started to show throughout the garden and the leaves are slowly turning.

A very welcome visitor for our Summer Garden Party last weekend was Hannah Moloney. Hannah is the Tasmanian host for the ABC’s Gardening Australia program on Channel 2. She is a permaculture educator, community worker, designer and best-selling author, and is pictured above (on the right) with our equally notable and appreciated Café and Event Manager Lynne Kershaw.
