Sculpture Competition

This event is an opportunity for amateur artisans to present a stimulating and diverse exhibition for all our visitors to see and enjoy.

Sculptors are invited to submit work that reflect on the theme of Joyful Gardens.

THE PRIZES

A judging panel of 3 will select three winners:

  • 1st Prize 16+ - $1000

  • Under 16 - $500

  • People's Choice - $500

Voting for People's choice will be available in person and online.

Prizes will be announced and presented at 11am on Saturday the 8th of November 2025. The winning entries will remain on display until 30th January 2026.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entry is $25 per entry

All entries must be received by 17th of October 2025 and include:

  • Advance Notice of Delivery

  • Completed Entry Form

  • Entrant’s statement which includes: About the Artist/s, the Title and an image of the work, medium/s created from and what inspired it.

Sculpture Entrants

  • The Madonna

    The artist said the inspiration was Motherhood. This beautiful piece of work can be found alongside Lake Grebe.

  • Our Diverse Earth

    A Mosaic creation inspired by Multiculturalism. This piece can be found adjacent to our North American Pavillion.

  • Community

    A joint project of the Parklands High School Year 8 students. This piece was inspired by the connections we all need to grow. This piece can be seen on the way to the Japanese area of the Garden.
