The Foreshore En Plein Air

Saturday the 14th March we hosted The Foreshore ‘En Plein Air’ which was run by the Burnie Coastal Art Group. The day was a huge success with approximately 40 entrants, of all ages, enjoying the gardens and creating some incredible works of art. First prize was won by the talented Arial Pascoe with second prize won by Jo Lawrence and the third prize winner was Elizabeth Kelly.

The artists chose their favourite spot and spent the day creating their works of art. A great day was had by all and it was wonderful to see the garden full of activity and happy faces.

The art was then brought up to our Rosetree Café and the judging was concluded. Some of the art is on display in the function space with some pieces for sale.
