Valentines Day - Friday February 14th, 12.30 to 3pm

Earn some extra ‘brownie points’ by treating your Sweetheart to a decadent lunch, lovingly prepared by our Staff and Volunteers. The Menu has been created with romance in mind and all ingredients are locally sourced including Nicols Chicken, Youngs seasonal vegetables and Duck River Butter.

The Garden Party - Saturday March 1st, 10am - 3pm

Thanks to the support from Burnie City Council through their Community Grants, we’re able to bring you an unforgettable day at Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens filled with:

Picnics, Sausage Sizzles, Kids’ Activities, Live Music, Brewers, Distillers and more!

The highlight of the day will be the official launch of our new composting area by Hannah Moloney from Gardening Australia and Good Life Permaculture!

James McGregor will be sharing the findings of his invaluable Platypus Research.

Rees Campbell will be cooking up a storm with her Feisty Tasmanian Masterclass, showing how to create two delectable dishes: Feisty Tasmanian Warrigal Greens Frittata and Baeckea and Pepper Chocolate Bark.

You will need to book for this one, and can do so with our combined Entry & Masterclass ticket.

Entry is $15 for Adults (Members and Kiddos are free) or $25 for combined entry and access to the Feisty Tasmanian Masterclass.
